I must have missed this e-mail from the Kansas City Police yesterday, but noticed it on Crime Scene KC. Kansas City Police responded to a 911 call from a woman saying her husband had been shot at 6407 Manchester Avenue.

Officers found a man's body in the second-floor breezeway of an apartment building. The man,
in his late 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect or motive was known, yet. Tipsters should call 816-474-8477.
That's three homicides in KCMO in two days.
Update (4:04 p.m., Wednesday, April 1): KC Police release the name of the victim; he is 34-year-old Ahmed J. Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri. The police have no suspects in custody. A Case Net search for Ahmed J. Johnson returns several charges for drug possession and distribution dating back to the mid-'90s. Johnson plead guilty to felony marijuana possession in 2007.
