Killa City: KCMO homicide No. 28

Posted by Justin Kendall on Wed, Apr 1, 2009 at 7:38 AM

I must have missed this e-mail from the Kansas City Police yesterday, but noticed it on Crime Scene KC. Kansas City Police responded to a 911 call from a woman saying her husband had been shot at 6407 Manchester Avenue.

Officers found a man's body in the second-floor breezeway of an apartment building. The man, in his late 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect or motive was known, yet. Tipsters should call 816-474-8477.

That's three homicides in KCMO in two days.

Update (4:04 p.m., Wednesday, April 1): KC Police release the name of the victim; he is 34-year-old Ahmed J. Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri. The police have no suspects in custody. A Case Net search for Ahmed J. Johnson returns several charges for drug possession and distribution dating back to the mid-'90s. Johnson plead guilty to felony marijuana possession in 2007.

Yes, this will go on until you come forward and put them away. Call 816-471-8477 tips and help do the right thing. As long as they are out there they will be free to keep on killing and destroying families. I do have sympathy for the pain and anguish that they are causing their families, but it is time to put and end to the maddness.

This is a call for Help and closure.

To Alesia, sorry to hear bout your brother. When him and his girlfriend Alisha stayed with me. He was so coo. For someone to take his life just like that and not think about his kids and family is so crewl. You and your family is in my prayers. I will be at the funeral. Sorry

Love Trina

This site is a tribute to Ahmed if any one would like to leave a comment feel free to do so at the very bottom of the page and add it to it. I won't stop blogging until the case is closed with justice. Just cause society labels you a criminal doesn't mean you don't have the ability to change and become who you are intended to become. God created all man and no one is considered better or less than another. God loved us all. He didn't put no label on any of us. If you don't have God in your life it is time that you reached out for Him, He is waiting.

I am just really just overwhelmed as it is that the police are sure quick to report all of my brothers bad, but has yet report any of the good of my brother. His past will never match the true beauty of the man my brother was. All the information that is being reported like him being the husband, my brother had not gotten married again. It was the ex-girlfriend. He was a truly good person whom is loved by many. He has 2 kids. He worked and had established himself. He had his past wrongs I won't deny that, but not one time did he deserve to have been murdered so brutally. The police never contacted the family. I contacted detectives myself. So still no one has yet to come to the my aunt's house and say Hey we are sorry to inform you that your nephew has been shot. So you tell me what does his past have to do with the fact that he was shot.
