This conversation* took place just before 1:15 today on Mix 93.3**.
Swank, a Mix staffer, on the phone: I'm on the Plaza, in that park with the fountains with the horses that spit water -- I don't know what it's called!
Jenny Matthews: I don't know what it's called either!*** You're handing out free Vitamin Water, is that right?
Swank: Yes! The taste just explodes in your mouth!
(Yummy noises.)
I'll be here til this afternoon, and after that, I'm going to go see Britney ...
Jenny Matthews: Yes, the concert's tonight! But you know what? We won't even be able to SEE you! Because you've lost so much weight! You're so skinny!
(Cut to commercial.)
* This is an approximation of an actual conversation. It is not verbatim. The actual dialogue was stupider.
** Does not indicate that I or any other Pitch staffer actually listens to The Mix.
*** Matthews has worked for The Mix in Kansas City since 2004.

Thanks for the publicity... hey, we are who we are... love it or hate it! : )
What I find very odd is The Pitch referring to the station as "The Mix." If you listen or even if you glance at the logo, you can tell that they identify themselves as Mix 93.3.
Any credibility for the blog entry was lost when the word "stupider" was used.

It's funny you point out the hilarity of their personalities. I recently stopped listening to the station because they have a portion of the day called something to the extent of "Ghetto Slang of the day" - further validation of their social incompetence / insensitivity. Radio is dead.
