AIDS Walk goes to India

Erin Goodyear had a conflict. The captain of Kansas City's AIDS Walk Team was going to be out of the country for this year's AIDS Walk Kansas City event -- Saturday, April 25 at Theis Park. Not walking wasn't an option. So Goodyear decided to take AIDS Walk to India. But before she goes, Goodyear's getting a Bollywood-themed send-off thrown in her honor at Cafe Trio, 3535 Broadway, from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight. Cafe Trio will show Bollywood films, hand out awards for the best costumes and swap "Red Ribbon" martinis for $10 donations. And to follow Goodyear's AIDS Walk work, check out her blog.
