Hallmark cutting between 200 and 250 jobs in Kansas City

About a year ago, we wrote about Hallmark blaming layoffs on competition while banking $4.4 billion in revenues. That story seems just as relevant today since Hallmark announced it will cut between 550 and 750 jobs in the U.S. -- reportedly between 200 and 250 jobs at Hallmark's KC headquarters -- over the next six months. Hallmark cited falling sales as revenue dropped 2 percent to $4.3 billion.
