Kansas City strives to be one of 'America's Favorite Cities,' trails St. Louis

Over at our sister blog Fat City, Owen is trying to drum up votes for Kansas City in Travel + Leisure's America's Favorite Cities of 2009. Kansas City is up against 10 other cities, including the dreaded St. Louis. Five cities will join the likes of Austin, San Francisco and Denver on the prestigious AFC list. Polls close May 15. Right now, Kansas City trails St. Louis for second place. C'mon, people. Are we going to let St. Louis beat us? No freakin' way. Vote already.
