Cops found the missing puppy-bling during a traffic stop in Alabama. New York man Jack Arenas, 25, has been charged with possessing the stolen merchandise, and an arrest warrant has been issued for a second suspect, 20-year-old Vanessa Ramirez. They're not charged with the actual robbery --- allegedly perpetrated by robbers in ski-masks -- just the possession of stolen property.
If these two were the criminal masterminds behind this, we have to question why they still had all these jewel encrusted flea collars in their car so many months after the robbery. Maybe outside of the wealthy and dumb dog breeding crowd, there just isn't interest for baubles like these. It'd be kind of sad if they got laughed out of the pawn shops, but not surprising.
Hat tip to Crime Scene KC for keeping an eye out.
