'Uncle' Ed gets freaky on YouTube

Posted by Justin Kendall on Tue, Apr 28, 2009 at 7:11 AM

Here's a helluva find by Independence's newest and best blogger Midtown Miscreant: former children's show host "Uncle" Ed Muscare's bizarre YouTube page. Videos like this:

There are many more videos of "Uncle" Ed on YouTube, and he's looking a little lonely. Maybe it's because, as the Miscreant points out, "Uncle" Ed is a registered sex offender in Florida. He's a long way from joking around with Cloris Leachman.

Old local TV host looks like hell and put himself there. No pity here.

The late night shows were classic Ed. Who remembers the scary weekend horror show where he was the "creeper". I'd like to see some of those clips too.

Sad, disturbing, poignant, bizarre, and, like popcorn and Lays potato chips, can't stop at eating or watching just one.

There's a thin line between being a creative comic genius and the crazy old guy in the broken-down house next door with a pack of baying dogs.

Ed, we thought we knew you and we really never did. Still don't. And never will.
