The latest bad news at The Kansas City Star: Sunday circulation is down 3.57 percent to 333,006. Not great news after revenues plummeted 25 percent in the first quarter for the Star's parent company, McClatchy, and with a rumored fifth round of layoffs possibly coming this summer.

Hat tip to McClatchy Watch.

What do they expect? Get rid of the socialist editorial board and express a view that is more in line with the populace and readership will rise.
Just like the Chiefs in the 80's, put out a poor product and drive your customers elsewhere.
Only reason to buy the Star is for sports and the advertising inserts. Both of these are available online at no cost.
The Pitch is the only paper worth reading in KC.
