12th Street bridge down to two, metal plate-covered lanes

In case you haven't had the misfortune -- and horror -- of driving across the 12th Street bridge lately, then you might not realize that the bridge is down to just two lanes while the eastbound lanes are under construction. I snapped this photo from my car last night on my way back from the West Bottoms.
Finally, a face lift. Still, I'm terrified every time I cross the bridge, especially when I hit the super-bouncy pair of metal plates that feel like want to crack my axle.
