Peter, this is a great weather report: informative, illustrative--all you need to know, really, about these clouds. Katie Horner's report on the same sky might include, by way of contrast:
1. 30 to 60 minutes interruption of regularly programmed television
2. storm-tracking maps with exciting but pointless narration, bright colors and arrows and, sometimes, a green line of flashing lights
3. 2 or 3 sky chopper reports on the same clouds looking pretty much the same, except someone is shooting them from the helicopter
4. a few phone interviews with random local people who have also seen these clouds.
