Killa City: Man found shot to death on Bales Avenue Tuesday night

Kansas City police found a black male in his mid-20s fatally shot in a a parking lot in the 9300 block of Bales Avenue around 8:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say witnesses saw a silver SUV flee the scene after the shooting.

Update (6:10 p.m. Wednesday, May 20): Crime Scene KC reports that the man shot to death was 19-year-old Edgeric L. Beasley. He is Kansas City, Missouri's 45th homicide.
