Killa City: Man shot to death in KCK

A man was fatally shot in the 1500 block of N. 23rd Street early Monday morning.

Kansas City, Kansas, police found a black man shot to death. Police believe the man is in his 40s. The man's name won't be released until family members have been contacted.

Update: This is KCK's 13th homicide.
Update (1:42 p.m., Monday, January 8): KCK police say the victim of this morning's homicide is Stanley D. Garr, 49, of KCK.
