O'Fallon loon Cynthia Davis continues to outdo herself. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that in her latest newsletter, the Republican state rep supports letting children go hungry.

"Hunger can be a positive motivator," Davis noted.

That's right, starving children of Missouri. It's time you stopped feeding at the taxpayers' trough and got jobs.

"Tip: If you work for McDonald's, they will feed you for free during your break."

That's right, kids. Get to work.

There's more:

"Families may economize by choosing not to waste hard earned dollars on potato chips, ice cream or Twinkies."
"Laid-off parents could adapt by preparing more home cooked meals rather than going out to eat."
The Post-Dispatch explained it best:
Tip: When you chair a state special committee on children and

families, you probably ought to learn something about the needs of

children and families.

Hat tip to Fired Up! Missouri.

And she isn't even right about McDonalds giving you a free meal during your 15 minute(!) break period. You get an employee discount, but ya gotta pay for the food.

What a loon.

You have to be particularly clueless to gripe about junk food like potato chips and ice cream at the same time you're criticizing the possible removal of vending machines from schools. What does she think those machines dispense, beans and chicken?

I also love it when someone who's never involuntarily gone hungry their entire life talks about hunger being a motivator. How the fuck would you know, asshole?
