According to a Newsweek "Web Exclusive," the magazine has ranked Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, in the Kansas City, Missouri, School District, 128th out of 1,500 public high schools in the nation.

This is just the latest drop in a well-deserved shower of praise for Lincoln Prep. Six months ago U.S. News and World Report handed its Silver Medal ranking to the school for the second time in two years, according to Andre Riley, communications specialist for the district. Both rankings are based on school population, college placement, test scores and other academic achievements.
