iamdrtiller is a great website, and I think all abortion providers need to be thanked for the service they provide women. Doctors shouldn't have to go to work in bullet proof vests because they're afraid some wingnut is going to murder them for doing their job. Thank you for covering this story.
Dead babies that should have been given a chance. Even with the birth defects. Nuff said. By the way, I know several people that were born with birth defects, and they are wonderful people. All I see are dead babies, and selfish men and women.
How typical, Allen. Those many people out there who aren't able to have children CAN adopt. Sure it takes time, and money and so does raising a child sometimes natural conception takes time as well. Its as simple as your opinion ends where my uterus begins. I have no reason to use anything (by way how would I use the religious whacks as a scapegoat?) to justify what choices I make concerning MY body.

If you'd even been in the SAME ROOM as some of the news coverage of Dr. Tiller's assassination, you'd know that his patients wanted to have babies, wanted to be pregnant, but health problems of theirs or catastrophic disorders of the fetus meant they needed to terminate their pregnancies. One that was posted yesterday was from a doc who's been providing abortions for something like 35 years, ever since a poor, struggling mother of several underfed children confessed to him that she had been hoping she had an abdominal cancer rather than be pregnant again. Really powerful, moving stories: the kind that NEED TO BE TOLD if mouthbreathers like Allen have any hope of understanding why abortion needs to be legal and will remain so.
Religion has nothing to do with it. Scientifically speaking, all abortion does is prevent human physiological evolution. For all you pro-choice people out there, your laying this issue at the feet of the religious right is bullshit. You are just looking for a 'scapegoat' to justify your selfishness. Secondly, Dr. Tiller's murder is only the cosmic cycle of "what goes around comes around." One murderer killing another murderer. Nothing more.
