Killa City: KCMO homicide No. 58, Warren K. Bouyer's death ruled a homicide

Kansas City police have added Warren K. Bouyer to the list of homicide victims for 2009, The Kansas City Star reported this morning. The medical examiner ruled the 45-year-old's May 2 death a homicide, and the Star says Bouyer's body was found at Third and Cherry by people delivering food to the homeless.

"There were signs of a struggle, and Bouyer had suffered trauma," the Star reported.

has more about Bouyer's life, from his military service in the Persian

Gulf to his struggles with crack cocaine to the hearts he touched at

Grand Avenue Temple. In fact, this YouTube video shows Bouyer singing "He Lives" on Easter Sunday.
