Each Thursday, your Crap Archivist brings you the finest in forgotten and bewildering crap culled from area basements, thrift stores, estate sales and flea markets. I do this for one reason: Knowledge is power.
They back this up with stat after stat in polished English. By 1962, the authors claim, "real incomes" for Soviet workers had risen 18 percent in three years, while a growing national income at the same time allowed the government to boast about providing pensions for 25 million workers, paid holidays for 69 million, and education for 61 million.
This, we learned, stirred happiness in the population, who, to honor this government, made dutiful love to each other:
"The high birth-rate in the U.S.S.R. is testimony of the rising material and cultural welfare of Soviet people, an indication that young mothers and fathers look to the future with confidence."Another key factor in that high birth-rate? Hotness!
"The expectant mother prepares layettes for her baby. The father cudgels his brain over the problem of his son or daughter."Tragically, the father only can dash that brain in after bribing an official a week's salary for cudgel access.

Baby butts have never made me wangt to buy anything but noseplugs.
Ford wouldn't be in the trouble they're in if they had continued to court the profitable pedophile market.
it's kinda conflicted, I always try to convey that people had happy fullfilling lives and it wasn't all grim like some might suggest. however all the living conditions, consumer goods and food supply was not as portrayed in these happy photos.on the same note, there are some areas in this country that don't look like USA expo that was a giant hit in Moscow in 70's or 80's and not everyone dresses like Elle magazine models. Free cars for handicapped were tin cans with scooter motors, pretty much motorized wheelchair with a tin roof BUT they did exist so that part is true. some day over a beer...
Meesha, I thought of you several times as I wrote this. I found it about a month ago in a pile of Russian phrase books, travel guides, and etc. all dating from the early 60s. Nobody working the sale had any information about a trip to the USSR almost fifty years back.
Am I correct in assuming that public health in the USSR was *not* the pure, smiley, public-nudity joy that it is presented as in this pamphlet?
Dr. Crap,
Your timing is impeccable and I wonder if you really ARE a Repub at heart. Most hippies on the left have neither the knowledge nor the gumption to even consider lambasting the Ruskies on the anniversary of the Apollo 11 launch, let alone doing so by making fun of the size of baby genitalia.
So, was your awesome attack a well planned red-state-bring-the-violence-a-thon and you are changing teams to the good side? Or, was it a hippie mistake made as a celebration to a book that will probably become a text book in our schools as Obama rapes the states to trickle up poverty?
Your Loving Friend,

Amazing, scary, stupid. Get ready for Obama care, America!
some day when I have nothing else to do I'll write about how it was in real life. in the meantime here is a related photo http://trinixy.ru/pics2/200708...
the main question is: how did this book get to PV.
