Get ready, U.S. Footy fans.

The KC Power Australian Football Club takes on Dallas and Denver in a triple header at the Kenneth Road Soccer Complex (Kenneth Road and Holmes) starting at 1 p.m. Saturday. This is the only chance to catch a KC Power home game in 2009 and see all the pad-free hits.

In the first match Saturday, Kansas City plays Dallas, followed by Dallas vs. Denver at 2 p.m. and ending with Kansas City taking on Denver at 3 p.m.

Here's what to expect:

If you can't make a game, and want to check out the Power's training

sessions on Tuesdays at Gillham Park and Thursdays at Mill Creek Park.

They'll likely split into teams and play a "metro game" amongst

themselves at Gillham Park (they're scheduled to play July 25 and August

8 and 29).

On August 15, the Power travel to St. Louis to play the Gateway City's team and one from the Ohio Valley.

Oi. Oi. Oi. And all of that.

The big hits do occur but not as often as the youtube video suggests. The game is very fast and skilful.
