A judge granted temporary custody of Renee Pernice's children to the mother of the missing Northland woman, KMBC Channel 9 reports.
Renee Pernice disappeared in early January, and authorities believe she is dead. Pernice's husband, Shon Pernice, has been arrested several times since his wife's disappearance.
Last week, a grand jury indicted Shon Pernice in connection with a dispute on the Fourth of July. Neighbors claimed Shon Pernice crashed the party and argued with a neighbor, who accused Pernice of stealing his gun.
