Killa City: KCMO homicide No. 67, elderly man shoots and kills Marcus Yarbrough

An argument left one dead Tuesday night. Kansas City police found a man in his 20s shot to death in the front yard of a home in the 3300 block of Jackson.

Witnesses told police that the twentysomething argued with an elderly man inside the home before the shooting. Police believe the men lived together.

Update (5:05 p.m., Wednesday, July 22): Kansas City police say the victim is 29-year-old Marcus Yarbrough, of Kansas City, Missouri. Police say Yarbrough the octogenarian that he rooms with got into an argument and witnesses couldn't calm the situation that led to the shooting. Yarbrough and the elderly man are not related, police say.
