Killa City: KCMO homicide No. 69, Tyrone L. Collins found shot to death in apartment on East 29th Street

A man was found shot to death in an apartment hallway in the 2300 block of East 29th Street around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday.

Kansas City police described the victim as a black man, approximately 30-years-old. Witnesses told police that they saw a white man flee the scene in a white Ford Taurus just after the shooting.

In a separate shooting, two people were found shot in an alley in the 2700 block of Cleveland. KCTV 5 reports that one of the shooting victims had life-threatening injuries and the other was seriously injured but expected to live.

Update (4:02 p.m. Wednesday, July 29): Kansas City police say the victim is 34-year-old Tyrone L. Collins, of Kansas City, Missouri. They're still looking for suspects.
