David D. Liberty loves young boys. Really young. Like 4-years-old. Or as old as 12 (but only "sometimes"). But he was specific on his desires: "I LUV LIL BOYS 5 to 10 n diapers the best."
The 50-year-old from Parkville was convicted of promoting child pornography and eight counts possession of child porn. Liberty could lose his liberty for up to 71 years. His sentencing is scheduled for September 24.
Platte County prosecutors say Liberty wrote about enjoying "lap dances" from a 5-year-old boy and having a 7-year-old boy "humping my back." He also claimed to be from the "SHOW ME state where u can still find LIL BOYS PLAYING NAKED n the creeks." His spelling, not mine.
Of course, investigators found all the creepy things you don't want to imagine in Liberty's home on his computer: photos of preteen boys engaged in sexual acts, a picture of a naked young boy hog tied and photos of young boys between the ages of 8 and 12 in diapers -- and photos of Liberty wearing a diaper.
They also found hundreds of pictures that Liberty had taken of young children at local fairs and festivals.
"Children in Platte County are safer today because this defendant is
facing several decades in prison," Platte County prosecutor Eric Zahnd
said in a statement. "This is a man who was intensely attracted to
young boys, and we hope he will never have another chance to act on
that attraction."
Then, for whatever reason, Liberty made a phone call from the
Platte County jail saying that his computer contained info that would
lead to "hundreds" of charges.
In August 2002, Liberty pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts of possessing child porn.
