Great tickets are still available for the September preseason game between the New York Islanders and the Los Angeles Kings. That's what Newsday columnist Jim Baumbach wrote a couple of days ago.

Want two seats 11 rows back just off center ice? They could be yours for just $75 a pop, plus a $9.65 convenience charge and $1 building facility charge, of course.

(Sorry, the $150 tickets appear to be sold out.)

Good deal that the most expensive tickets are gone. Bad deal that lower bowl tix are still available, especially after how long they've been on sale. And now for the really bad. Baumbach writes that "the Islanders are far from from a perfect fit for Kansas City" and adds that the team would be much more likely to end up in "Portland, Hartford or somewhere in Canada" than calling the Sprint Center home.

But hey, AC/DC is coming back!
