Pizza Hut receipt leads police to alleged shooter

A Pizza Hut receipt led to the arrest Antwan S. Wooden, following a shooting in March.

Jackson County prosecutors charged Wooden today with first-degree assault,

armed criminal action ad firing a weapon from a moving vehicle.

Court records allege on March 7, Wooden, 23, hung out of the passenger window of a vehicle on 71 Highway and shot a man in a truck while they drove side-by-side. The victim suffered gunshot wounds to his left leg and right arm and drove himself to Truman Medical Center for treatment.

Police found the Durango at Linwood and Euclid where it was

involved in a crash. Witnesses told police that the men ran from the

Druango after the wreck. Inside the Durango, police found a Pizza Hut box and a receipt.

Surveillance video from the Pizza Hut showed Wooden and three other black men enter the store for carry out prior to the shooting.

The victim identified Wooden from a photo lineup.

its a shame how a crack head can point someone out y they high n the police are wrong they n it to they just slandering his name cause what block he from the world is crazy n they didnt stop making darango when he got his the police need to worrie about the big thing n men out here killing kids n women out here killing kids its probably a murder going on right now the police is wrong n they always get away wit things we need to come together n stop the police they the ones causeing all this war cause they take sides if they would quit lieing to the people telling them if they tell they will be safe how when all they information is on all the papers.
