Scott and Mark Wyckoff allegedly played Fritz and David Von Erich against a couple of police officers in the Power & Light District last week.
Jackson County prosecutors charged 21-year-old Scott Wyckoff with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer and 46-year-old Mark Wyckoff with felony interference for shoving a police officer who was trying to pull the younger Wyckoff off an unconscious cop that Wyckoff was going Dan Henderson on.
Court records allege that Scott Wyckoff tired to sneak past an ID checkpoint into the Power & Light District on August 9. A uniformed police officer tried to arrest Wyckoff, who allegedly struggled with the officer and fell on top of him. The officer was knocked out but that didn't stop the younger Wyckoff from allegedly cracking the unconscious officer in the skull with his fists. Another officer tried to intervene. That's when dad jumped in, allegedly trying to shove an officer off his son. .
The unconscious officer was taken to a hospital where "medical personnel determined he had bleeding on the brain," court documents say. The docs also say: "Neurosurgeons were unsure at the time if the victim would have any permanent damage as a result of his brain injury."
Scott Wyckoff later admitted shoving the officer to the ground and being "intoxicated" and "very aggressive" toward the officer, documents say.

My prayers go out to the Mark, Scott Alisha & Sheri... ive known this family for year and i pray to god that the truth will be found... i know that what ive heard is nothing like these horrible news aligations. I hope the officer recovers and the wycoff men are soon found unguilty. They are in my heart. & as for these idiots judging the friends of the wycoffs stop spending so much time involving yourself in something you have no right to be in. your a sad person and i pray you change on day for the better.
I know the Wycoff's and this is obviously another case of the media twisting the truth around to sell more papers or advertising. I have heard the REAL FACTS and they are nothing like what has been printed here. I can tell you this...these are good Christian people and I find it impossible to believe that they would do anything that they have been accused of. God Bless you Mark, Scott and family. I feel extremely sorry for your family and friends to have such a bitter, quick to judge person in their life. I hope this never happens to your family or friends or you'll want them executed too. you are a piece of dog poo on the bottom of my shoe, bitch. you have no right to talk crap about a person you have never even MET! you lowlife, get a life. scott has been my friend for over 10 years and has never been violent, nor his dad. sounds like law enforcments are over-reacting by trying to arrest him for not showing id... that is obsurd if that were to happen in dowtown san diego (my home), the only thing they would do is put him in back of the line if there were people in line, and make him show id, if he decided not to show id, then dont let him into the club, its that EASY! i have a question, what does a "bouncer" at a bar do? what are they paid for? why are bouncers so big and scary? heres one answer for all 3 questions, to handle these types of situations. sounds like that bouncer checking id was a bitch if he couldn't handle someone not showing there id. i have never wished this upon anyone but, god will punish you for everything you say bad about these GOOD people. i hope you rot in hell when you are dead. and i hope you die a slow agonizing death, because that is what you deserve you no-good, heartless, heathen.

If you knew them personally you would not be saying such horrible things. I also read that your local cops and security officers seem to be on a power trip. What would you do if somebody came up from behind you UNANNOUNCED and grabbed you? would'nt your first reaction be to get them off your back? and would'nt your response also be to protect your kid if someone has him down on the ground kicking and beating the crap out of him? I have also know the Wykoff family for more and 15 years. I know that they wouldnt do anything to hurt anyone...So maybe your kansas city back woods low lifes are to quick to judge. Im just saying..... Maybe the un uniformed cop should have identified himself before trying to make an arrest.
Hey, Amber, News flash, anyone who does this kind of thing is a stupid low life good for nothing scum bag. I wish we could execute them for a crime like this, but something about cruel and unusual punishment? I think it is cruel and unusual punishment for these types of lowlifes to be allowed out in public.

I just want to say that Mark and Scott Wyckoff are very good friends of my family, I have known them for over 10 yrs. They would never go out of their way to hurt anyone. I am very sorry for the OFF DUTY officer family and what they are going throught but do not think for one minute that this man and his son would ever go out of there way to hurt anyone if they where not trying to defend themselves. Again do not judge until we have true facts.
