A drug deal gone wrong led to the death of Euril B. McCoy, court records say.
Court records say 17-year-old Louis R. Sayles, a juvenile known as "Boo," and someone named "Cell" went to buy a "stick" of PCP from McCoy on Olive Street between 37th and 38th streets on August 10.
Later, "Boo" told police that the three attempted to rob McCoy, who "became hostile." When McCoy refused to "give up his stuff," "Boo" allegedly whipped out a revolver and pointed it at McCoy, who slapped the weapon. Then, "Boo" allegedly shot McCoy in the head.
"I'm sorry," Boo told his mother. "I didn't mean to do it. It was an accident."
Jackson County prosecutors charged Sayles with second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of McCoy.
On Sayles' Facebook page, he writes: "im a coo ass nigga dont like to b around no body layed back but wiil fuck somthin up if a nigga talk side ways." Sayles' photos show the tribute T-shirts that are all too familiar around Kansas City, blowing smoke and throwing up hand signs.

So since so many people know about him why don't you know who really did the crime and who really set the man up. Why don't you people that don't have real information keep you thoughts to yours self. And was the arrest a few weeks ago even about the same thing or do you know that either. I am glad ever one knows what is going on in KC. And parents do get the back draft of what there kids do but if your kid is selling PCP which could kill other people just so they can make a buck but they are high off of it them self almost all the time. They should respect other peoples parents and don't sell drugs get a job and if family encourges drug selling maybe you should go to jail too. Somebody's kid could die from that crap your kid is selling.
And this is the dude who was hemmed up in the attic on 44th and Wayne yesterday....makes you wonder...

u know what? he might have been selling drugs but i knew him and he was a decent human being... he never hurt anyone, didnt rob ppl, he jus was trin 2 get by doin what he had 2 do... and i know what really happened and there is alot more 2 the story than u think... this was not a random robbery... not everything is black and white, and u should really think about the friends and family of the victim before u go posting dumbass comments like the ones on here...

I am shocked - shocked - that a homicide here could possibly involve drugs. Aren't all murder victims completely innocent? There's no way their lifestyle could possibly contribute to what happens to them, right? Just ask their mothers.
