Feuding neighbors shoot at each other in the 3900 block of Flora; 16 arrested

Neighbors in two houses were shooting at each other in the 3900 block of Flora yesterday evening.

Kansas City police issued an "Operation 100" after receiving reports of people shooting guns in the street around 7:36 p.m. Police took four people -- two adults and two juveniles -- into custody from one house early on. Police also reported getting a female with minor gunshot wounds out of one of the houses.

Around 10 p.m., 15 people exited both houses.

A total of 16 people surrendered, and investigators are sorting out what happened and who will be charged.
