12th Street bridge open ... for now

Rejoice, West Bottomers. The 12th Street bridge is open again. It re-opened late last week while we were on holiday. The city had shut down the bridge after an expansion joint failed causing concrete to fall on a nearby hillside. Not good.

Enjoy the bumpy, metal-plate-covered ride while you can. It's bound to be closed again some time soon.
