The Kansas City Wizards have called Community/America Ballpark in KCK home for two years. The soccer franchise may just be making KCK its permanent home in Village West.

The Kansas City Kansan reports that the Wizards are working on a deal with Wyandotte County's Unified Government and the state of Kansas to move to KCK.  So much for the billion dollar redevelopment of the old Bannister Mall site.

The Kansas City Star reports that the $400 million proposal would include an 18,500-seat soccer stadium on land owned by Nebraska Furniture Mart, a 600,000-square-foot office complex for Cerner with 4,000 new jobs projected and dozens of soccer fields for amateur play.
