During last night's meeting about curbing crime and violence in the Hyde Park neighborhood, Kansas City Police officers announced that a suspect is in custody in connection with the death of Taylor Holman, and that another suspect was on the verge of being apprehended.
The officers didn't name the suspects, and added that charges had not been filed.
Holman, 20, was shot Sunday night at the corner of Armour and Cherry and later died of the injuries at a local hospital.
