Scott Roeder, the man accused of fatally shooting Wichita abortion provider George Tiller, is scheduled to go on trial on Monday.
But the trial is likely to be continued to a later date, the Wichita Eagle reported today.
Roeder can use the extra time to consider the "justifiable homicide" defense that he was contemplating last month.
