Killa City: KCK homicide No. 27, Florinda Florez-Hernandez found dead

The victim of last Thursday's homicide in the 1000 block of Barnett Avenue was Florinda Florez-Hernandez, Kansas City, Kansas, police say.

KCK police found Florez-Hernandez, 36, in a home on Barnett around 5:25 p.m.

Police still haven't released a cause of death.

Update: KCTV 5 reports that the woman's husband found her dead in the home. The woman's throat had been slashed, KCTV 5 reports.
