Vandals tag Penguin Park with anti-Obama graffiti

Saw the anti-Obama vandalism of Penguin Park on KMBC Channel 9. So I drove out there this morning with the camera. Most of the anti-Obama messages was already cleaned up. Except this one.

Louis Cummings, the guy in charge of the park's clean up (that's

him power washing the kangaroo), says this was the first time that

he'd seen anti-Obama vandalism at the park. But it's not the first time vandals have struck the park. The park gets hit at

least once a week, Cummings says. It's so bad that the city inspects the

park daily.

The vandals also painted a swastika on an elephant slide.

They also used brown paint on the elephant's bum.

Cummings thinks that kids are vandalizing the park. Cummings estimates the

cost of the vandalism at $1,200 (not including repainting the fences

and the slides.

You can't drive through an intersection in KC without being recorded by a video camera, but vandals can paint a swastika in the park every week with impunity? How could video surveillance possibly cost more than paying for Louis Cummings' salary and a powerwasher?

They gave the elephant a bloody gash!

Isn't the idea of parks socialistic in the first place? Real 'Mericans are astisfied with their chunk of Arrowhead parking lot before a game every couple weeks.
