Big night at the Sprint Center with the New York Islanders vs. Los Angeles Kings NHL exhibition game.

Great seats are apparently still available. A quick search for the two best available seats turned up a pair of $150 front-row seats in section 107 near center ice. So if you have an extra $330.40 ...

Also found a pair of $75 tickets on the other side near center ice in row 16. So there really are good seats left.

Some bad news: The Kansas City Star reports that the Islanders' star rookie John Tavares won't play due to an injury.

Of course, there's a bunch of chatter about the Islanders possibly leaving New York for KC. Don't get too worked up. We've heard it all before.

Kansas City and the Sprint Center also received some good news yesterday: the arena will host first- and second-round games in the 2013 NCAA men's basketball tournament as part of the tourney's 75th anniversary.

Surprisingly, tickets aren't on sale.
