The University Daily Kansan is reporting that a second altercation between Kansas Jayhawk football and basketball players broke out Wednesday morning.
The Daily Kansan reports that the "players were seen arguing and shouting racial slurs at each other" at Wescoe Underground around 10 a.m.
The Lawrence Journal-World reported that sophomore guard Tyshawn Taylor and other basketball players fought football players Tuesday night.
Basketball players reportedly at the scene were Tyshawn Taylor, Sherron Collins, the Morris twins, Mario Little, Brady Morningstar, Travis Releford, Tyrel Reed, Thomas Robinson and Elijah Johnson.
The only football players named in the story as being at the scene were Dezmon Briscoe and Chris Harris.
Eyewitness reports in the Daily Kansan say basketball players were yelling at a group of more than 15 football players. One witness said the basketball players were trying to calm Collins.
"Mario Little told me football players had beef with Sherron," [junior Erryn] Kindle said. "He said they were talking trash."Police were on the scene and questioned some of the players.
