The celebration of Ian Earl Jones' life begins this evening.
A candlelight vigil is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Paseo Baptist Church
(2501 Paseo Blvd.) and a memorial service is set for an hour later at
the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church (4509 Troost).
On Saturday, a wake will be held at 11 a.m. at the Swope Parkway Church of Christ (5620 Swope Parkway) followed by the funeral at 1 p.m.
Police believe Jones, a youth pastor, was the victim of road rage. He
was shot on September 12 at 19th and Paseo. Jones died days later.
