Sometimes guys convicted of murder are innocent. That's the case of Darryl Burton, who Nadia Pflaum profiled in "Miracle Man," this week's Pitch feature story. Burton was falsely imprisoned for 24 years -- until last year. Now, Burton has found peace thanks to Jesus.

Also, the Dr. Crap rips apart Berdella: The Movie. Ferruzza reviews Maxwell's Downtown Grill in Lee's Summit. And the Buckle Bunny wades through a sea of virgins. Self-professed, that is.

We also learned that:

1. Racism is dead -- at least according to one loony Missouri rep.

2. Liquor control's crackdown on serving minors is hurting those of age who use Mexican I.D.s.

3. Anthony Amato is out of work ... again.

4. Existing 3.a.m. bars are likely to keep their licenses.

5. Nick Sloan owns the Kansas City Kansan.

6. The Sprint Center is making money for the city.

7. Phill Kline's ethics are being questioned, and a complaint claims one of Kline's deputies misled a judge into releasing women's medical records.

8. KC's gay political clubs are still fighting.

9. Finally, KU's football and basketball teams want to make each other bleed.
