Mayor Mark Funkhouser's fantasy football team is on two-game losing streak. Funk's Footballers lost a close one to the Pittsburgh Proud, 96-91.

Good games out of Denver's defense, running back Willis McGahee (67 yards rushing and two touchdowns) and receivers Jericho Cotchery

(108 yards receiving and a touchdown) and Nate Burleson (109 yards

receiving) couldn't over come bad games out of Atlanta wide receiver Roddy White (24 yards receiving), Washington Redskins running back Clinton Portis (42 yards rushing and 6 yards receiving) and Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller (20 yards receiving).

Solid games all around from the Proud.

Funk's Footballers are 1-2 and in tenth place with 237 points. Next week, Funk takes on Buffalo's Best.

Funk was active over the weekend, adding Green Bay kicker Mason Crosby and the Denver defense and dropping Tampa Bay running back Earnest Graham and Philadelphia wide receiver (and former Missouri Tiger) Jeremy Maclin.

Funkhouser better pull it together if he wants to win Yahoo! Sports Mayoral Face-Off Fantasy Football League -- and the $15,000 prize, which Funk has earmarked for the Police Athletic League.
