It would be nice for the city to actually do something with the architectural wonder that is the Power and Light building. For once, I'd like to see the city actually reburbish an existing building rather than possibly demolishing yet another part of Kansas City hisory. With the social awareness that people have about recycling and re-using, why not re-purpose. Hopefully one could re-furbish the existing building in a way that would be aesthetically pleasing, unlike the addition to the "old Post Office" building that looks like it has a prison attached.

Please don't choose Barney Allis. At the moment I prefer the block with the P&L building and the proposal to repurpose that lovely--nearly abandoned--structure.

Barney Allis Plaza?? Surely the city isn't seriously thinking about taking one of Downtown's few public spaces. There are so many empty parking lots to choose before the plaza.
