To Chris: I invite you to do your part in helping the human overpopulation issue by a: killing yourself or b: removing your own genitals. I do believe that humans and animals can coexist. But i believe that there must be a balance. I believe that we must solve problems that we create. We created a problem with development by sealing the deer off in a little cocoon of isolation away from any natural predation. It is only responsible that we manage the deer population so that they don't have to suffer from famine and disease.

Deer are not people. Nobody is setting the deer on fire. There are no Jewish deer. There is no deer holocaust.
There are not going to be any pools of blood that you can gather your children around.
I am not a "death deviant." I do not hate animals. I have a great respect for all God's creatures. I manage my property so that the deer, pheasants, quail and turkeys may flourish. I do not torture animals. I have 2 dogs which i love very much and are spoiled beyond belief. I volunteer with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and have helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity.
All school shooters may have been hunters, but I assure you, madam, that all hunters are not school shooters. That you imply that because these troubled kids were exposed to hunting is the main reason they shot up their schools is irresponsible.

I have had 6 yrs of watching the deer holocaust and through it all I have lost all faith in my fellow human beings. To see how ruthlessly, callously and thoughtlessly people are willing to snuff out a life because of their immense selfishness, greed and ignorance is a very sad commentary on our species and the level of deterioration they have fallen to in this century. Only our species is capable of bringing extinction to it's own. What will these cold-blooded death deviants (anonymous above) say when they see the pools of blood and guts left behind in the park? Will they celebrate, roll in the blood, and show their children that this is what we do to solve a perceived problem? Did you know you "fucking idiot" that ALL school shooters were hunters? ALL serial killers begin with torturing animals for fun. I wonder, what is it you do for the good of anyone or anything other than yourself? If you someone was going to kill you, you would want someone speaking up for you.
We need to learn to co-exist in this world, humans are so stupid, can't even see that we are not the only living beings on this planet.
Just to say, humans are also very over populated as well, I think we to focus on decreasing our own numbers.
