Is this costume too sexy for a teen?

I don't want to sound like Phill Kline, but check out the teen costume in the middle (click on the photo to make it larger). Saw it in a Party America ad in yesterday's Kansas City Star.

No daughter of mine would ever show up at her Johnson County junior high Halloween cotillion in fishnets and a short skirt. Am I being too much of a prude? Tell us.

ohh chill out. halloween is the only day of the year that kids get to have fun, and dress up like something that they're not. its only a dress up thing, doesnt mean they are going to turn into some little whore.

I agree. They have been "Sexing" our kids up for too long. I find it very hard to buy non-hootchy shoes for my daughters. How are kids suppose to run & play during recess w/2 inch wedged heels on their shoes?

This is no big deal. If your daughter does any kind of dance (ballet, tap, jazz, etc) she'll have been wearing fishnets and short skirts for years by the time she gets to junior high.
