Police are investigating the shooting death of a man near 29th and Indiana this afternoon.
Kansas City police say a black male believed to be about 20-years-old was suffering from a gunshot wound on a sidewalk near the intersection around 2:23 p.m.
The man later died at a local hospital. The man's name has not been released yet.
Witnesses told police that a black male fled the scene on foot right after the shooting.
