A preliminary hearing for the three men accused of killing Keighley Ann Alyea has been scheduled for January 19, 2010.
Johnson County prosecutors charged Dustin Hilt,
Gerald Calbeck and Joseph Mattox with first-degree
murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery in Alyea's death.
Foster in Mission, Kansas.
Alyea's body was found on October 5 in a farm field near the intersection of East 235th
Street and South State Route K Highway in Cass County, Missouri.
Police questioned Hilt, 18, who was reportedly Alyea's ex-boyfriend. Alyea and Hilt's relationship was allegedly abusive. Hilt and Alyea had each other's names tattooed on their bodies, but Alyea's father has said he wants Hilt's name removed before Alyea's funeral.
Days after police questioned Hilt, prosecutors charged him, Mattox, 21, and Calbeck, 18, with murder in Alyea's death.
Alyea's family told reporters that the three men allegedly thought they had killed Alyea prior to the trip to Cass County, but Aleya regained consciousness. Then they allegedly finished her off.
Hilt, Calbeck and Mattox are all scheduled to appear in Division 6 of Johnson County District Court at 9 a.m. on January 19, 2010.

I thinks it's very funny how someone would say joe didn't do it, or dustin didn't do it as they are all 3 sitting in a jail cell for life. They ALL 3 DID IT! If they're all 3 in jail, & being charged & convicted, they're guilty. A beautiful young woman lost her life because of 3 immature young men, who have no value for life... I'm extremely happy that the 3 of them have been charged & convicted. I went to school w/ dustin & gerald, they both seemed to be normal teenage boys, but then they got into drugs, which makes a lot of ppl do things that they normally wouldn't do. Keighley may have been on drugs but I kno she wasn't before she died, I talked to her plenty. There's always gonna be ppl in a death that are on one side or the other, but in the end justice was served... Live with it!
If they did it which I believe they did then they should be painfully executed. Leave the jail space for another minus to society. My prayers go out to her family. I have a daughter that age and I don't know what I would do.
They will drag this out in court forever. Once guilty of such a despicable crime the guilty party should be eliminated.....

Ok I was close friends with both Dustin and Keighley for years and had spent time with both of them right before it happened. They BOTH had a drug problem, not just Keighley. All three of them, Dustin, Gerald, and Joe was at my apartment two days before Keighley was murdered, and they all were tweaked out. Keighley was not perfect, noone is, but she did not deserve this. I dont understand how people like "pissed off" could talk shit on someone who was just murdered, and for another thing mr. pissed off before you go running your mouth you might wanna get your story straight. Dustin and Keighley both were doing drugs and had problems, thats not a reason to go and murder someone. After Keighley left Dustin she got her own apartment, started school, was working full time, and was clean. Dustin on the other hand was still out running the streets and doing drugs. It hurts to talk about Dustin like that because he was like a brother to me, but if you were as close to Dustin as you think, you would know he was the first one to be questioned and arrested that night, and then the other two were arrested later that night....from the way it sounds and how everything went down, it looks like Dustin was the one who confessed. Everyone who really knew Dustin knew that he loved Keighley and would never imagine him doing something like that....until he started speneding lots of time with Joe and started getting into some bad shit. Its funny how people on blogs like this claim to be such good friends with them and know whats going on, but cant even use their real name, AND provide FALSE information. Here's some advice for you fake people who thought you knew Dustin and Keighley, next time you try to pretend to know everything you might want to post something thats actually true. Keighley I hope you rest in Peace Babygirl, And i hope that Justice is served. You were like a sister to me and there was a time we spent every single day together. I love you and will see you again someday. Dustin, I hope that everything isnt what it seems, and that one day the complete truth will come out Lil Bro. I know that you didnt do this on your own. I know drugs factor in as well as Joe. As far as Gerald I dunno. I hope you didnt do this even though thats what it seems, and if you did I hope that you have a chance to stand before God and realize the mistake you made.

I know that Joe and Dustin were both involved! Joe is guilty no doubt in my mind, he was certainly hiding from something or someone, and Dustin must have been involved or he would show more remorse. I don't know about Calbeck or how he was involved, I will feel safer once I know they will be behind bars for life. Why would you say Joe did not do it? What if Dustin did not do it? How do you know, the investigation is not even over.
It is obvious that Joe is not only on drugs or coming down, but that all 3 must have a drug addiction. NOTHING is bad enough to dump her body in a field. No doubt in my mind all 3 had something to do with it. The scared one turned on the other two and will most likely provide evidence/testimoney for a lower jail sentence. "he didn't do it" oh sure, except for the fact that someone , ONE of the 3 is admitting to it. My bets are its the Calbeck kid. Just look at Joe's eyes. That is drugs plain & simple.
