Ed,
He's grounded all right. This is just a publicity stunt to sell more vehicles. I've go no use for his type.

Muller supposedly talked to his wife, and they "gave up everything in our life at the time [so] we could buy two season tickets, no more dinners out, nothing."

Translation: "I informed my wife that I had decided to piss away all our discretionary income on football, and rather than take responsibility for how this affected her, I now expect everyone to believe that Mrs. Muller is such a football fan that she'd rather have season tickets than ever get a night off from shopping for, shlepping home, and cooking dinner for an ungrateful jerk."

All day we talked about football and Rush Limbaugh, and by that night at dinner my wife broke down in absolute tears . . .

Translation: After a day of browbeating my wife, she broke down in tears.

I don't think it has anything to do with Rush, it has more to do with public perception. I've seen this guy up at arrowhead and it's not squirrel and possum grits he's dishing up. He's a very well grounded individual, or seems to be. I think his protest is against the run away political correctness in this country that has stepped beyond common sense and decency. I could care less about Rush, not my kind of guy, but at the same time I think the NFL made some mistakes in the way the situation was handled and if this guy wants to make a personal protest then he has that right, this is still America after all.

800 fans go to Arrowhead to eat squirrel and possum grits with this guy? I find that hard to believe.

It's getting so I can't distinguish the real news from The Onion.

Well, let's see... I only have so much sympathy to go around this late in the month... Sympathy budget is kind of stretched out. Who should I give it to... Sick people who can't afford health care? The families and friends still losing loved ones because Bush lied about Iraq? Hmmmm... Great Googaly Moogaly! An owner of a car dealership had his feelings hurt because Rush Limbaugh's well-documented history of racism came back to bite him in his draft-dodging, pilodinal-cyst-covered ass! How can my heart go on without going out to this poor, poor man, who is now undoubtedly suffering more than the Jews did during Nazi Germany? I feel sooooooooo sorry for him... Really. You have *no* idea how much I pity him.

It is truly frightening that grownups can be this stupid. It's like this numbskull actually believes that Rush cares about HIM.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say what everyone who reads this is thinking, THIS GUY IS A FUCKING MORON.

They gave up everything in their lives to buy season tickets because Rush told them to? That's so touching, they faced utter deprivation for a hobby. All I can think of is that Simpsons where Krusty talked his audience into burning their money.
