Damn ESPN and USA Today's coaches' poll.

Just when the Kansas Jayhawk family feud between the football and basketball teams had quieted down, they go and kick the football team while they're down.

On a two-game losing skid (and facing an unpredictable Texas Tech team in Lubbock this weekend), the Jayhawk footballers got more bad news today: The Kansas men's basketball team is No. 1 in ESPN and USA Today's preseason Top 25 Coaches' Poll.

Ooh, not only are the basketball players more popular with the ladies, they're also more popular with coaches?

I smell another on-campus brawl.
