1 dead after accident at KC Performing Arts Center construction site

One person has died after an industrial accident at the construction site of the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Kansas City police say a lift failed and either fell or collapsed, injuring two men.

The men were taken to local hospitals, and one of the men has died.

The other man is being treated for his injuries.
