I'd like to say that I was shocked by this week's story of five men charged with sexually abusing young girls and a boy in their own family.
But after what we learned in January about Danial Rinehart and the allegations that he impregnated one of his daughters four times (only one of the children survived), I'm not surprised by the allegations against the Mohler men.
Burrell Edward Mohler Sr. and his four sons are accused in Lafayette County of several felony rape charges against children younger than 12.
The 77-year-old patriarch is accused of presiding over "mock weddings"
of young girls to their relatives before they were sent off to the
chicken coop or a camper for privacy.
Senior is accused of forcible rape and two counts of rape and two counts of using a child in a sexual performance.
Here's the breakdown of charges against his sons:
one of the victims, now 26, came forward in August with allegations of
sexual abuse dating back to 1988. She apparently wasn't the only victim -- five
others, now in their 20s and 30s, all came forward, and authorities
believe there may even have been a murder or murders.
Police are looking for other victims, asking them to call 660-259-6789 or 816-474-8477.

Please. Innocent til proven guilty is regarding trial and conviction. People can give their opinions as much as they want whether they think someone is innocent or not.
On the one hand, I totally think this is disgusting, and these men should rot in jail for what they did. But on the other hand, our constitution says INNOCENT until PROVEN guilty. In several articles I read, the victim says that she recently remembered "repressed memories." It doesn't seem to ring really true to me, but if her statement is correct, there should be evidence. I'm waiting to see if they find these bodies or jars that they're looking for...
I would not classify these people as Christians Homer!!

Being a christian has nothing to do with what you claim its all in your works and in your heart!!! Yes I believe we are all innocent until proven guilty, but it seems like six different victims coming forward might be enough to make supposedly innocent men GUILTY!!

What ever happened to being innocence until proven guilty? The media have all but sentenced these men without a trial.
