The daughters of Burrell Mohler Jr. told authorities that their father made them kidnap and kill a man, KCTV 5 reports. The TV station cites

a warrant alleging that Mohler Jr. and his daughters stalked a 300-pound man from Independence

Center to his home and then lured him into a trap and took him away to Mohler Jr.'s father's farm in Bates City.

According to KCTV 5, one of the girls claimed she stabbed the man in the back and her father stabbed him in the front, killing him. Then she claims that she and her sisters dug a grave and

buried the man's body.

Here's a snip:

A document with the search warrant said that investigators

found a glass fragment, an unknown type of bone, a credit card, eye

glasses, a shoe or boot sole and a broken glass jar during digging done

on the property on Nov. 10.

KCTV 5 also reports

that the big dig on the Mohler family's old farm near Bates City was an effort to

find the remains of a baby buried in the basement of the home. KCTV 5

says an alleged victim came forward, claiming the Mohlers locked

her in a basement, raped her and buried the body of her infant child in

the basement.

When authorities searched the property, they used radar in the

basement, which showed a box-shaped object buried under the basement

floor.

Additional charges have been filed against the Mohler men.

Burrell Edward Mohler Sr. is now accused of

forcible sodomy, sexual abuse, three counts of forcible rape and three

counts of using a child in a sexual performance.

Here's the breakdown of the new charges against Mohler Sr.'s sons:

  • Burrell Edward Mohler Jr., 53,of Independence: forcible rape and forcible sodomy.

  • David Mohler, 52, of Lamoni, Iowa: forcible rape
  • Jared Leroy Mohler, 48, of Columbia: two counts of forcible rape.
  • Roland Mohler, 47, of Bates City: forcible rape and forcible sodomy.
The latest charges, brought by a now 29-year-old woman identified only by the initials E.M.S., include allegations that:
  • Jared Mohler had sexual intercourse with her at Burrell Mohler Sr.'s farm in 1985.
  • Burrell Mohler Sr. had sex with her in an abandoned house in Bates City between 1986 and 1987. Around the same time, Darrel Mohler allegedly vaginally penetrated E.M.S. and one of her sisters. Another sister, A.J.A., corroborated the story. (Darrel Mohler was charged with two counts of rape over the weekend).
  • Burrell Mohler Jr. took E.M.S. and her sister A.J.A. to Senior's farm where he had sexual intercourse with both, claiming he was Burrell Mohler Jr.'s "bad twin."
  • In 1987, Burrell Mohler Sr. took her on a tractor ride and became sexually aroused while she was seated on his lap. He allegedly rubbed against her and ejaculated.
  • Jared Mohler allegedly held E.M.S. on his lap, rocking back and forth, at a house next to Burrell Mohler Sr.'s. Burrell Mohler Sr. noticed and said, "That's my boy." When he Burrell Mohler Sr. left, Jared Mohler vaginally penetrated E.M.S.
  • Burrell Mohler Sr. made E.M.S and her three of her sisters take off their pants and have sexual contact with each other while he watched. Then Burrell Mohler Sr. allegedly penetrated E.M.S. This was in 1987.
  • In 1988, David Mohler took her to the chicken coop where he kissed her playfully. He then made her pull down her pants and underwear as well as his. Mohler allegedly laid on top of her on a blanket and vaginally penetrated her with his penis. Next, Mohler allegedly told E.M.S. to get her sister.
  • Burrell Mohler Sr. made her and her sisters lay on their stomachs in order of age. E.M.S. claims her Mohler Sr. used a wood spatula to penetrate her anus. E.M.S. believes she was 8-years-old at the time.
  • Burrell Mohler Sr. made E.M.S. and her sisters lay on a bed with their wrists bound. The girls were then penetrated vaginally and anally by three men believed to be Burrell Sr., Burrell Jr. and Roland Mohler.
The Mohler men are scheduled to appear in court today.

Look it up.
Unfortunately, pervs rely on the fact that it is so hard to prove these cases and use it to their advantage. Think about it, what five year old is going to come forward to say my grandpa raped me. She would number one be scared to death of the big fat bastard that did this to her. Also, threats are used to kill her or someone else if she told. Number two, she may not even really comprehend what is happening, only that it hurts and makes her feel horrible. Pervs use this to their advantage and know most idiots will believe them.

I doubt that the police are telling the media everything they know so don't make judgement for or against the victims or the alleged unless you know EVERY DETAIL of the case.

Angry, I agree that the children/adults who claim to have been abused need help. Even if they are lying they still need help because why else would they make up such tales?

However it would be wrong to take an innocent man's freedom away unless you are 100% sure.

To those who seem to believe that we should incarcerate these men based solely on the accusations of these girls: What if it was you being thrown in prison for 20 years just because someone said you did something bad to them?

If these men actually did these horrendous things than even the death penalty is no good enough for them.

Too many cases of child abuse has happened and is still happening in the world today. When something like this comes up we should be on the childs side. There might be hoaxes in some cases, but for the childs sake they need someone to stand by them and show that there is people out there who have a heart that do care. And if all this is true, I hope those FAT BASTARDS get what they deserve!

If you actually pay attention to the case. So far every allegations that have been made against them, they have found proof or some sort of discovering backing up the story. Such as finding the boxes, the bone, credit card, glasses buried, and jars.

Look it up -- I am reading the articles, but I haven't read anything that leads me to believe any of the claims that you mentioned in your last post. As of now, they're just uncorroborated allegations.

A recovered memory from one woman, and her siblings coming forward with the same exact stories. A mother who warned a father of sexual abuse back in 99, a mother who went to the pastor and told him of the abuse. The pastor says yes, she did come to him. I thought you said you were reading the articles. Apparently not.

look it up says:
"and what sort of evidence would you expect to see after so many years after the fact? Maybe they do have evidence on those tapes and it just hasn't come out to the public yet?"

There had better be some evidence on those videotapes, otherwise they've got nothing and they've ruined the lives of six men for no reason other than a "recovered memory" from twenty years ago.

Obviously the authorities have reason to believe it is true and probably know a lot more than the average joe that just keeping up with the case by reading news articles.

Sexual abuse claims are outragious? You have had your head in a hole, haven't you?

Maybe you would loearn more by reading articles instead of the headlines. The article says more than the fact they may have been used for child porn.
Things came to light years ago with a step son of Burrell Jr., Bio dad learned he was being sexually abused. I believe in 99. ONE daughter came forward after remembering what happened. Her siblings then came forward. No one said the siblings had repressed memories. The mother knew about it and went to the church leaders, years ago. This info and the fact he had incest porn and the siblings have the same stories of specific incidences. Sounds to me like they are telling the truth and it's not just bunk.
I understand the police need SOLID evidence to convict, but so many people believe it's all bunk and not willing to look at the whole picture. You choose to be blind.

It came to light several years ago that the grandpa was molesting his step son. The bio father of the boy had to get full custody to get his son away from that pervert. Do some reading and some research.

Does anyone remember the McMartin preschool free-for-all recovered memory debacle back in the 80's? After convictions and ruined lives and many years of litigation the convictions were overturned. I commend the Pitch for elaborating on the incredible recovered memories of these current "victims". The narrative reads like a conflation of God's Little Acre and the X files. I predict that when all the facts are laid on the table the case will self evaporate for lack of substance.

"a credit card"

And that was half a credit card, by the way. No bodies, though. No jars filled with notes, no box under concrete. Add to this shocking
lack of evidence an allegation that a five year old girl attempted to strangle a 300 pound man, then dug a grave for him! Does anyone actually believe that?

What physical evidence are you talking about? All I've read about is this:

"investigators found a glass fragment, an unknown type of bone, a credit card, eye glasses, a shoe or boot sole and a broken glass jar during digging"

I'll bet that you'll find basically the same junk if you dig in the yard of any older home.

Is there any actual evidence yet, or just the "victims" claims? If any of this actually happened, why did the "victims" wait 20 years to say anything? The more I read about this story the more I think that it's a hoax. And for those of you who think that something like this can't be a hoax, please read this arcitle:

http://www.signonsandiego.com/...

Here's the main quote: "Since the late 1980s, all but one of 26 [sex abuse] convictions Jagels secured have been reversed."
