Does it get any better than The Onion making up quotes for Mayor Funkhouser?
Observe:

"There were some vested incentives that would have automatically kicked in if the Royals had finished higher than last place, or won more than one championship in their existence. I wasn't saying that I couldn't do it, I was saying that if a story says that something happened "again" it would be nice to have links to the prior occurrences.
Suggestion: when you say that The Onion clowns on the Royals "again" it would be nice to have links to previous clownings. Thank you.
