Kansas City police released the victim of Monday's homicide in the 3700 block of Roberts.
Police say 27-year-old Lisa M. McGuire of Versailles was the woman they found dead outside of an apartment complex.
Police had received a tip around 9:49 p.m. Monday thata woman was dead outside of an apartment complex.

I was very sorry to hear the news about Lisa. She always had a really hard time in her life and I hope and pray that she is in a happier place now.
This is terrible. My heart goes out to her family and children. She may have been into drugs or whatever but we are not to judge others for their bad choices. Just remeber her family and children in your prayers. Those children are now without a Mother and unfortunately in Foster Care. They should h ave been immediately placed back with their Grandmother whre they could have received the proper love they needed to get through this. have heard the Grandma hopefully will get the children back in January. All that read this please pray that they will be returned to their family

Dear Pitch: I don't like being harsh, but people really need to stop talking so callously about "they got what was coming to them." No one deserves to have happen to them what happened to that young woman--I don't care what she did or did not do, she was a child of God who didn't deserve to die that way.
